The Professional Convention Management Association is one of the foremost authorities in the global meetings, convention, and business event industry. PCMA is also the publisher of the award-winning Convene magazine–a must-read for industry insiders–and annually hosts the Convening Leaders conference. Like other organizations on this list, PCMA offers a comprehensive CMP program.



With over 18,500 members and around 80 chapters in 22 countries, Meeting Professionals International is the largest international events association in the world. MPI offers both networking opportunities for its members and educational resources. In particular, MPI’s CMP program is one of the most recognized events industry certifications out there.



Launched in 2016, Eventovation is the fastest growing community for people in the event planning world. With over 1,200 members, Eventovation is an online forum and live networking series that facilitates learning and networking between event experts.
